The requirement was to create a portal to add contestant information and pull contestant data from the portal to the word press website.

Technical Approach

We created the portal using the code igniter framework integrating an Admin interface to enable  the admin to add contestants. Another challenge was to display the portal data as a part of the word press website. For that purpose, we used a word press plugin as that is found to be the ideal way to integrate external data to a word press site.
