Privacy Policy

We take this very seriously

Your privacy is very important to us. At VijaySoftware we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

     • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)

     • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

     • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

INTERPRETATION

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Business, for the purpose of the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), refers to the Company as the legal entity that collects Consumers' personal information and determines the purposes and means of the processing of Consumers' personal information, or on behalf of which such information is collected and that alone, or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of consumers' personal information, that does business in the State of California.

• Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Vijay Software, 5585 Via Del Coyote, Yorba Linda,CA 92887. For the purpose of the GDPR, the Company is the Data Controller.

• Consumer, for the purpose of the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), means a natural person who is a California resident. A resident, as defined in the law, includes (1) every individual who is in the USA for other than a temporary or transitory purpose, and (2) every individual who is domiciled in the USA who is outside the USA for a temporary or transitory purpose.

• Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

Data Controller, for the purposes of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), refers to the Company as the legal person which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data.

• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

• Do Not Track (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by US regulatory authorities, in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites.

• Facebook Fan Page is a public profile named Vijay Software specifically created by the Company on the Facebook social network, accessible from https://www.facebook.com/vijaysoftwaredev/

• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. For the purposes of GDPR, Personal Data means any information relating to You such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. For the purposes of the CCPA, Personal Data means any information that identifies, relates to, describes or is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with You.

• Sale, for the purpose of the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a Consumer's personal information to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.

• Service refers to the Website.

• Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
For the purpose of the GDPR, Service Providers are considered Data Processors.

• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

• Website refers to Vijay Software, accessible from https://vijaysoftware.com/

• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), You can be referred to as the Data Subject or as the User as you are the individual using the Service.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, VijaySoftware collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. VijaySoftware’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how VijaySoftware’s visitors use its website. From time to time, VijaySoftware may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

VijaySoftware also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. VijaySoftware only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to VijaySoftware’s websites choose to interact with VijaySoftware in ways that require VijaySoftware to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that VijaySoftware gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address. Those who wish to receive VijaySoftware updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, VijaySoftware collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with VijaySoftware. VijaySoftware does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

VijaySoftware may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, VijaySoftware may monitor the most popular pages on the VijaySoftware site or use spam screened by the Akismet service and/or Google reCAPTCHA to help identify spam. VijaySoftware may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, VijaySoftware does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

VijaySoftware discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on VijaySoftware’s behalf or to provide services available at VijaySoftware’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:

Business Transfers

Ads

Ads appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by VijaySoftware and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Comments

Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service and/or Google reCAPTCHA are saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.  

Google Analytics

VijaySoftware is the most popular Google Analytics plugin for Statamic. Our goal is to help make analytics easy for users by showing them how visitors find and use their website from inside their Statamic dashboard.

VijaySoftware Google Analytics application uses the Google Analytics Reporting API to gather analytics about your website and present them in an actionable way via charts, graphs and tables inside your statamic dashboard to any user with administrator level privileges on your website.

VijaySoftware discloses client Google Analytics information with prior user consent only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on VijaySoftware behalf or to provide the services available at VijaySoftware websites (ii) and to provide necessary technical support for our services.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, VijaySoftware may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in VijaySoftware’s sole discretion. VijaySoftware encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
